25 Years Of Relationship: Betrayal, Hair Loss – The Love Story Of Will And Jada Smith!

Actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have been married for over 25 years now. The two have a strong bond and are just as open-minded when it comes to talking about their relationship. The couple is often seen discussing their not-so-conventional marriage.

The news that Will slapped comedian Chris Rock for his unsalted joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s health condition at the 94th Academy Awards ceremony went viral.

The incident started becoming a trend across the internet in a short time, getting feedback from fans across the globe. Some criticized the actor for reacting violently and defending toxic masculinity on a public platform, but others praised him for protecting his wife facing multiple difficulties in treating her disease, alopecia areata.

However, this is not the first time the couple has become the subject of controversy. Smith and Pinkett have sparked strong discussions about their relationship, ranging from rumors of divorce to open marriage.

The couple met for the first time on the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Jada wrote there about an audition for the role of Smith’s girlfriend. But she could not take the role because it was too short. That role was given to Nia Long.

Although the two could not perform together as a couple on-screen, they started a friendship in real life. At the time, Smith was married to Sheree Zampino, whom he divorced in 1995. However, according to reports, the actor began dating Pinkett before the divorce.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett were married in 1997 on New Year’s Eve in a private ceremony at the Cloisters Mansion while the latter was pregnant with their son Jaden. They welcomed Jaden in 1998, and later in 2000, their daughter Willow was born.

While there were reports speculating on an open marriage and divorce, the couple appeared stronger by destroying such rumors. Smith clarified the 2015 divorce rumors by saying: “So in the excessive interest, over, over and over… Jada and I… together, we will not part !!!!!!!!!!! ! ”

In September 2021, Will Smith told GQ that the couple had decided not to have a monogamous relationship. “We have given each other faith and freedom, with the belief that each must find his way. “And marriage can not be a prison for us,” he said.

Last year, Jada confessed that she had an affair with rapper August Alsina, but said that this happened during the time they were separated from Will, and after that, they reunited.
