From the moment that Bruce Willis and Demi Moore started having something together, all eyes were on them. Even after the divorce, they remain close friends. The couple has three daughters together.
And today they continue to support each other even though they are married to other people.
Today, the Die Hard star is married to his wife Emma Hemming, with whom he has children, but Moore still spends a bunch of time with Willis, especially after the devastating diagnosis he received a few months ago.
His family announced that he would leave acting due to an aphasia diagnosis that reduces his ability to communicate.
The statement read, “To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family, we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities.”
People close to the family say that they all hope to get as much time with the Pulp Fiction star as they can as his health is deteriorating, according to sources close to the family who also claimed that “Bruce can’t say much, and it doesn’t appear like he understands much of what people say,” so Emma serves as his spokesperson and communicator.
Meanwhile, over the years, his daughters are growing up and have not been much in the public eye. Even the eldest daughter Rumer is grateful to her parents for this.
“I think at that time I didn’t have as much of an understanding of the public side of it to have that affect me as much,” she told Larry King as an adult.
“I’m so thankful and grateful that my parents made such an effort at that time. They always made an effort to do all of the family events still together and made such an effort to still have our family be as one unit, as opposed to two separate things, which I think really made an impact.”
However, being the daughter of two celebrities like Willis and Moore, Rumer became a victim of online bullying by the famous blogger Perez Hilton. He later apologized for his behavior.
“They said I had a huge jaw. They said I had a ‘potato head,'” Rumer recalled. “When you’re 14 or 15, I didn’t really understand having a value in myself yet. My mind went to, ‘OK, so if I get skinny or if I dress the right way or present myself very hyper-sexually and dress this way, then I’ll be valued.'”
Rumer recently shared very exciting and good news after all the bad news. She is expecting her first child.
They shared the exciting news with a photo of Rumer’s bump which her loved one kisses.
Moore reacted to the news by posting on Instagram herself. She wrote, “Entering my hot kooky unhinged grandma era.”
We are so happy for the family
