Tim Roth is currently in a very bad state.
His 25-year-old son Cormac Roth passed away at the age of 25.
Although the announcement of his death was made on October 31, 2022, the young man had died 2 weeks before.
In July of last year, Cormac disclosed his medical problem for the first time on Instagram. Tim Roth revealed to NBC News that his darling son lost the battle against cancer on October 16, 2022. As stated by Roth:
“On Sunday, October 16th, we lost our lovely boy Cormac after a valiant fight with cancer. His family, who adored and loved him, held him as he passed away quietly. He endured a year of great bravery while fighting, all the while keeping his wicked sense of humor.
Although Cormac first announced his cancer battle in July 2022, he later disclosed that his stage 3 germ cell cancer diagnosis had really been made in November 2021.
The illness, also known as choriocarcinoma, proved difficult to treat, according to Cormac. The information he provided demonstrated how the illness and its associated therapy had caused him to lose confidence, hearing, and weight.
The teenage singer courageously resisted his cancer in his post by pledging to fight it as hard as he could. He also added that it had not diminished his passion for music-making. The actor’s son said at the end of his term on the job:
“Love to you all; please remember to pursue your passions. Life is brief. It’s a mess.
After Cormac’s passing, his family paid tribute to him by saying how grateful they were for the time they had, however brief, with the young man. They also lamented the fact that he had just recently started to develop into a man. It was said:
“We cherish him. He will travel everywhere with us.
“On Sunday, October 16, we lost our son, Cormac after a courageous battle with cancer,” the Roth family announced.
“He died peacefully in the arms of his family who loved and adored him. “He fought with incredible courage last year and kept his wit and humor to the end,” the family said in a statement.
“A gentle soul who brought so much happiness and hope to those around him. Grief grows when we think of that beautiful boy we got to know during these 25 years and 10 months,” according to the statement.
Cormac graduated from Bennington College in Vermont and was an extremely talented musician.
In an Instagram post in July, Cormac announced that he had been diagnosed with stage three cancer in November 2021.
“He has taken away half of my hearing, 60 kilograms of weight, my faith, and will continue his murderous way until I manage to somehow stop him. But it hasn’t taken away my will to survive, or my love for making music. It hasn’t taken off yet,” Cormac wrote on Instagram.
