Gwyneth Paltrow’s fans can’t stop talking about the topless photo she shared on Instagram

The reaction from Gwyneth Paltrow’s admirers to her topless Instagram photo wasn’t what you would have expected.

In reality, it wasn’t even close. While she and her husband Brad Falchuk were on holiday in Italy, Paltrow was inundated with messages advising her and other people to wear sunscreen.

The 50-year-old actress was lounging alongside her spouse in a blue beach chair in the opening image of a carousel of seven.

She had her arm about her chest and was only wearing a necklace and a pair of gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses.

“That first pic is a great advert for sunscreen if ever I saw one,” one person wrote.

Fans immediately called attention to her complexion, which many claimed had suffered severe sun damage.

“It doesn’t add up to me. The poster queen for a health and wellness empire having skin that badly sun damaged,” one person wrote.

“Look at all the sun damage on your skin. What goop product will fix that,” another concerned fan wrote.

Paltrow founded the wellness and lifestyle company Goop. People have expressed concern for Paltrow’s allegedly sun-damaged skin before.

She published a carousel of images in May showing her chest with a number of dark areas that are related to sun exposure.

The ultraviolet light from the sun harms your skin every time you walk outside without sunscreen, even though you might not realize it.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology Association, if this damage is not prevented, it can build up and result in wrinkles, age spots, loose skin, spider veins, and a blotchy complexion.

Although it’s important to protect our skin from UV rays, is it necessary to call out others for not using sunscreen?
