A Colorado dentist has been accused of poisoning his wife through her liquor.
On March 6, 2023, Angela Craig began to suffer from symptoms of dizziness, and lightheadedness, her eyes would not focus, she felt heavy and sluggish, and she had vomiting and extreme headaches.
On March 15, 2023, Angela decided to go to University Hospital, Colorado, accompanied by her brother and later met by her husband, 45-year-old dentist James Toliver Craig.
After arriving at the hospital, Angela’s condition deteriorated and she suffered a seizure at 2:00 p.m. She was pronounced dead later in the day at 16:29 on March 18, 2023.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by the Daily Beast, another dentist who worked with James at Summerbrook Dental Group reportedly alerted a nurse with their suspicions that Angela may have been poisoned after they opened a package James delivered to the office with a Cyanide of potassium.
The Aurora Police Department’s Major Crimes Homicide Unit then launched an investigation into Angela’s death, and James was arrested by police in Aurora, Colorado a day later.
A new email account was found to have been set up on a computer where James had purchased Crystalline Metalloid Arsenic – as well as other poisons – online.
