Sad! The famous American actress passes away

The American actress, Barbara Bosson, has passed away at the age of 83.

The Emmy-nominated star rose to fame after her role as divorcee Fay Furillo on NBC’s Hill Street Blues.

Created by her then-husband, Steven Bochco, the drama was critically acclaimed and loved by many.

Her death was announced by her son, director Jesse Bochco, via social media.

“Forever in our hearts. I love you mother”, he wrote among others.

The actress was nominated for an Emmy Award for her role as prosecutor Miriam Grasso on ABC’s Murder One.

She was also famous for her work on three popular ABC series – “Hooperman”, “Cop Rock” and “Murder One”.

Bosson was born on November 1, 1939, in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, and later grew up in Belle Vernon.

In 1957, she moved to Florida with her family before eventually moving to New York.
