A woman has gone viral after revealing that a groom was caught by the bride while being breastfed by his mother on their wedding day.
Wedding planner Georgie Mitchell told the strange story on The Unfiltered Bride podcast, which she co-hosts with friend Beth Smith.
She was not present at the event but said she had narrated the incident to a make-up artist. “Jenny said to me, ‘I was at a wedding yesterday and you’ll never guess what happened,'” Mitchell said. “The bride had to go to the bathroom just before the ceremony. She went into the bathroom and saw enough to end the wedding.”
The groom was drinking breast milk at his mother’s.
“The groom took ‘mama’s boy’ to another level,” someone commented. “I thought you were going to say ‘the groom was dead’ but this was worse,” wrote another.
She did not make it clear whether the bride went ahead with the wedding or not, but in any case, it is vital that she did not kiss the groom at the altar.
For those of you who are wondering: A woman can continue to produce milk for years, provided there is a “demand”, meaning the baby drinks milk, although milk production depends on other factors as well.
