We send our deepest condolences to the family of John Travolta on their loss

John Travolta touched everyone with a post on Instagram where he remembered the death of his son who would have been 30 years old.

At the age of 16 in 2009, his son Jett, who he had with his ex-wife Kelly Preston, changed his life. He hit his head in the bathtub while having a seizure. His death was an accident.

In a photo where the two had gone out, he wrote “My dearest Jetty, I miss you more than words can describe. I keep you in my thoughts each and every day. Have a wonderful birthday! Sincerely, your Father”

Jett, a 1992-born child had a history of seizures and was identified as having Kawasaki disease as a young child.

His parents admitted that he was autistic. Jett was a very well-rounded child and was very special.

“Jett lit up the lives of everyone he touched,” John Travolta and Kelly Preston said in a statement published after his death.

“It breaks our hearts that the time we were able to spend with him was so fleeting. For the rest of our lives, we are going to hold dear the time that we were able to spend with him.”

Travolta has other children with Preston. Ella Bleu was born in 2000. Preston passed away in July 2020 after losing her battle with breast cancer.

John Travolta at that time said “I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so please forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a bit. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mothers. But I want you to know that I will be able to feel the outpouring of love that you have for us in the next weeks and months as we get better.
