Just a few days ago Jeannie introduced us to her 5-year-old daughter. She said “[This] might be the most exciting episode I’ve here on Hello Hannay,”
In the clip, it seems that she has dressed the little girl very fashionable with a cheetah print dress and a big yellow ribbon on her head.
“It’s time to share the most amazing, exciting, newest member of the Hello Hunnay family,” says Mai Jenkins, who seemed nervous at the time.
“I got really scared, guarded, and protected,” she says. “Please excuse the nerves.”
Luckily Jeannie has suffered and continues to suffer from postpartum anxiety.
“The new mom anxiety is real and I wasn’t prepared for the hit of it. Here I am going through postpartum with worries, with heart palpitations, with an inability to sleep, and I was like, ‘I’m not depressed; I’m actually super stoked and happy, but I’m worried and really anxious and fidgety, ’and I didn’t know what it was.”
After she did research she found that this depression was common and widespread in many women. In fact, this type of depression does not give you suicidal thoughts but you are always anxious and not comfortable.
She continued, “Now that I know what it’s, I still get anxiety attacks, but I’m aware that it’s just a phase,” she said.
The couple got married in 2021. Now they enjoy growing up their child together.
