A man freely admitted he could be alone for a ‘long time’ as he opened up about his desire to meet someone with a ‘high-end appearance’.
Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to finding their perfect match, and while attraction is important, it’s also good to look at your compatibility.
It’s good to know whether you share the same values, whether you want the same things in life and whether you actually enjoy each other’s company. If all of those boxes are ticked, then why does it matter if they don’t have the hair color you’d always dreamed of?
But for one man from Scotland, it’s really all about the looks.
TikToker Kevin, from Fife, told The Sun he has high standards when it comes to love – and while no one wants to get in a relationship with someone they’re not totally sure about, Kevin’s requirements are a bit more demanding than most.
“I’m not into ugly women,” he said, adding: “I’m not saying I’m Brad Pitt but I know I can pull reasonable women.”
Kevin’s ideal woman is attractive and busty with long hair – though he doesn’t like it if that hair is put up in a hair tie.

Kevin went on to admit that it ‘does make it harder to find someone if you’re only going for the high-end appearance’, adding: “Your work is going to be a lot harder, and loads of other men are probably going to be after them.”
However, for Kevin, the perseverance is worth it.
“I’m just not willing to settle for second best,” he said. “I realise I could be on my own for a long time.”
Even with his determination to find the best of the best, Kevin has previously managed to find people to strike up a relationship with, and has had a long-term relationship in the past.
He went on to date someone he met on TikTok, but the spark fizzled out after just one month of dating.

Since he doesn’t drink, Kevin doesn’t go to bars where he could potentially meet partners, and instead turns to dating apps for help.
However, he found himself struggling to find anyone to commit to, saying: “A lot of women just don’t get back to you. The majority never message you.
“If you do get a message from a girl I can guarantee you she will be someone that’s not that good looking.
“I’ve lowered my standards before and I never enjoyed it. I’ll not be doing it again.”
While Kevin expressed belief he ‘could have a girlfriend’, he’s happy to wait for the right person.
“Lots of men are single because they want to be and they refuse to settle,” he said. “It’s a lifestyle choice.”

Women taking injections similar to Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro are being warned to take extra care when it comes to contraception.
GLP-1 medications – like Wegovy and Mounjaro – have boomed in popularity, helping people shed some pounds. So, too, has Ozempic, though the drug is only FDA-approved to treat Type-2 diabetes, not purely as a weight loss injection.
They work by mimicking the natural GLP-1 hormone, which helps regulate blood sugar and hunger levels, as well as slow digestion, according to Harvard Health.
Meanwhile, tirzepatide, which is the active ingredient in Mounjaro, works in a similar fashion, as well as with an additional hormone called glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP).
Now, the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued its first official warning to those taking the medications who are also on birth control.
It comes as growing numbers of users are reporting unexpected pregnancies despite being on birth control, as the MHRA has received over 40 reports of pregnancies in women taking these types of injections so far – leading to what has been dubbed ‘Ozempic babies’ (viaITV News).

These include 26 cases linked to Mounjaro, eight related to semaglutide (the active ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy) and nine tied to liraglutide (used in Saxenda and Victoza).
In particular, it’s believed Mounjaro may reduce the effectiveness of the pill in people who are overweight.
The UK’s MHRA advises women on the pill to also use condoms, especially during the first four weeks of treatment and after increasing the dose.
They also warn that some women should wait up to two months after stopping the injections before trying to get pregnant, as the long-term effects on fertility and pregnancy aren’t fully known.
The agency also advises that these drugs should not be used during pregnancy, while trying to conceive, or while breastfeeding due to limited data on their safety for unborn babies.
A spokesperson for Novo Nordisk told UNILAD that ‘there is limited data with semaglutide use in pregnant women to inform a drug-associated risk for adverse maternal and foetal outcomes’.

“Semaglutide injection (Ozempic®, Wegovy®) should be discontinued in women at least two months before a planned pregnancy due to the long washout period for semaglutide,” they said.
“Semaglutide should not be used during pregnancy. Women of childbearing potential are recommended to use contraception when treated with semaglutide.
“In other pharmacology trials, semaglutide did not affect the absorption of oral medications (including the oral contraceptive medication ethinylestradiol and levonorgestrel) to any clinically relevant degree.
“Therefore semaglutide is not anticipated to decrease the effect of oral contraceptives.
“Nonetheless, caution should be exercised when oral medications are concomitantly administered with semaglutide.”
Mounjaro’s manufacturer, Eli Lilly and Company, also told UNILAD: “Patient safety is Lilly’s top priority, and we actively engage in monitoring, evaluating, and reporting safety information for all our medicines.

“The Summary of Product Characteristics for Mounjaro (tirzepatide) explains that tirzepatide ‘has the potential to impact the rate of absorption of concomitantly administered oral medicinal products’ and that the impact ‘is most pronounced at the time of tirzepatide treatment initiation.’
“The tirzepatide Patient Information Leaflet pregnancy section states: ‘This medicine should not be used during pregnancy as the effects of this medicine on an unborn child are not known. If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine.
“It is recommended to use contraception while using this medicine. If you are a woman with obesity or overweight and are using oral contraceptives, you should consider also using a barrier method of contraception (e.g., a condom) or switching to a non-oral contraceptive method for 4 weeks after starting Mounjaro and for 4 weeks after each increase in dose.'”
A divorce lawyer who had dealt with numerous cases has described what she’s found is the most likely type of person to divorce.
Of course, everyone wants their happily ever after, but sometimes it’s just not in the cards for a number of reasons.
And divorce lawyers are the ones who see it all.
But while reasons such as money or cheating are often the biggest factors in divorce rates, according to one attorney, another says that it might be as simple as a person’s profession.
KK, known by her username @attykkl on TikTok, has been a family lawyer for over 13 years and shared a video on the social media platform talking about what professions women should stay away from if they want a higher chance of having a healthy marriage.
While it’s not legal advice, she explained how she had been told about five red flag professions that men have that, in her experience, have been proven as correct throughout her career.
She said: “What I noticed among these five professions is that they tend to be more narcissistic, they tend to be more controlling.
“They tend to be far more difficult in dealing with a divorce. They have kind of a ‘nuke the earth, you know, scorch the earth, how dare you challenge me’ kind of approach to litigation.”
Fireman
While these jobs are not all correlated in very obvious ways, KK notes that they all put a man in some sort of position of power over others.
“They all have in common that the men in these professions, they’re gods in their profession, right?” KK asked rhetorically.

Police officer
“You’re a policeman, you’re walking around with a gun, you’re walking around with authority”, she said.
So this could mean that they assert power over others, which could be tricky at home with the change in dynamic.
Military
KK adds that a big aspect of this may come from the difference between this star treatment at work and the typical role and duties of a husband at home.
“Everybody treats you with respect. Then you come home and all of a sudden somebody’s asking you to take out the trash. I think that that’s a difficult kind of transition to make.” she said.
Surgeon
Surgeons are also on this list and it’s due to the exact same thing as the above profession.
“If you’re a surgeon, you’re walking around the hospital… you’re in charge,” the lawyer explained.

Pilot
The divorce lawyer also notes that, of all the professions, this control and respect differential can be seen among pilots quite a lot due to just how many people are relying on them at one time.
“They’re in control of like 150-200 people’s lives at a time.” KK said. “They are treated with a tremendous amount of respect and they have a lot of responsibility. And they tend to be very narcissistic and very controlling.”
Despite having confidence in these observations, she also reminds women to take them with a grain of salt.
“If you’re married to somebody in any one of these professions, it doesn’t mean that you’re doomed to fail.” she said.
“I’m sure there’s outliers and any kind of statistic.”
A woman was ‘traumatized’ by what a man did at the end of their first date and people say it’s a sign he’s ‘in a relationship’.
Dating apps are bleak, many don’t have the confidence to go up to someone in person after the pandemic left us void of social skills and if you do manage to get to the first date and actually meet someone in real life – it’s a miracle.
Alas, even after getting over the hurdle of the first date, it doesn’t mean you’re safe and one woman found this out the hard way.
A TikTok user named Rachel Paige took to the platform earlier this year to reveal she went on a date with a guy which initially seemed to be going really well.
Dining on fajitas and sipping margaritas, Rachel reviews the first date as ‘good’ and ‘a vibe’.
In the video, she recalls: “He was funny, he was nice.”
After their dinner, he asked her back to his house to ‘watch a movie’. Rachel agreed and when they arrived, he took her to his room.
Now, if you think you know where this is going, then ready yourself because you’re in for a cracker.

Rachel continues: “I sit on his bed and then he immediately goes to the bathroom. No big deal, whatever.”
But it didn’t turn out to quite be the ‘no big deal’ Rachel thought.
Not only did he ‘not close the door’ to the bathroom, but the door was open enough for the TikToker to see her date ‘pull down his pants’ and ‘sit’ on the loo. Oh yes, you know what’s coming.
As if her eyes weren’t having enough of a treat already, Rachel’s ears were soon about to be blessed with the sound of the man ‘grunting’.
When she asked him what he was doing, he simply confirmed – with a grunt of course: “I’m pooping.”
And it’s not taken long for social media users to weigh in.
One TikToker said: “Notttt on a first date, and that’s as someone with IBS!!”
“You better had got up and left miss maam!!!! ain’t no way,” another added.
A third commented: “Call the police, ain’t no way. boy bye.”
Rachel joked in the comments she’d been left ‘traumatized’ by the incident and in a follow-up post revealed she actually ‘stayed’ and the guy later explained to her he just ‘felt really comfortable around’ her.
They even went on to have a second and third date.
A woman on TikTok has issued a stark warning to those using dating apps after revealing how a date ‘tried to kidnap’ someone.
If you’ve not having much luck in the dating world right now, then you may be tempted to try out the various dating apps available in the hope of finding love.
And while many have found ‘the one’ using dating apps, there’s no shortage of horror stories of meeting a date you’ve been speaking to for a while.
One of those horror showings has been shared on TikTok by a woman called Brookes Tok, who began by stating a pal of hers went to visit a man for drinks in London.

Brookes explained how her friend had been messaging this man for a few weeks before meeting up, though they had never called or video chat prior to the date in the English capital.
“On the day, she said she felt a little bit uneasy so she decided to ask her best friend to come with her,” Brookes explained.
The date commenced as they sat down for drinks in a bar, but the woman noticed that the man didn’t exactly look like the pictures online.
The woman then nipped to the toilet in shock at the fact the man is not who she thought he was going to be, with the friend staying with the man.
“As her friend watches, she notices he puts something in her drink,” Brookes explained on TikTok.
The friend immediately notified the woman of what is going on, with the pair then planning an escape plan to leave the date without the man knowing.
But the man, who the woman began speaking to on Tinder, has cottoned on to the plan and questions the woman on where she is going.
“As they’re leaving, there’s a large van outside with five men,” Brookes explained. “They’re all looking at the girls in a strange way. All of a sudden, he comes running out of the bar towards them and he starts to shout at the men in a different language.”

Thankfully, the woman was able to escape the situation, though she is certainly under the assumption the Tinder date knew the men coming from the van.
The video quickly went viral, with many viewers flocking to the comments section to provide their thoughts.
“That’s scary, thank goodness she had a friend watching her back,” one person penned while a second added: “I would’ve ran back into the bar and asked the bartender to call the police.”
